Who We Serve

We serve students in grades 6 – 12 from throughout the state of Vermont who have been unsuccessful in traditional school settings because of emotional or behavioral problems. These are young people who are at risk for failure because they may be disruptive or combative, and need additional help with both learning and life skills. They’ve experienced difficulties in learning in a mainstream academic setting.

Through partnerships with school districts, we expand on and enhance the educational opportunities available to challenged students. We offer them hope for a positive middle school and high school experience and a brighter future.

Eligible students include those with emotional difficulties, learning disabilities, autism, traumatic brain injury or other health impairments.
